The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is a year round not-for-profit, vendor-run farmers market located in historical downtown Fredonia, NY. Our mission is to provide a marketplace for high quality, locally grown food and handcrafted products for the community, offer healthy food options, promote a strong local economy, and contribute to the preservation of small family farms. Visitors and residents alike can discover the strong agricultural, entrepreneurial and artistic talent that exists in western New York as well as expand their social consciousness with exposure to non-profit or service-based organizations that benefit everyone.
Each Saturday morning, 9am to 1pm, from May through October, the Fredonia Farmers’ Market opens on Church Street for the entire community to come together to purchase locally grown vegetables, fruits, meats and dairy products. We have a number of summer vendors who accept EBT, NYS Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) checks, WIC Vegetables and Fruit checks. Market patrons can also purchase $5.00 gift certificates and credit card tokens from the Market Manager.
The first Saturday of November, 10am to 1pm, marks the beginning of the Winter Farmers’ Market season as it moves indoors to the Masonic Forest Lodge, 321 East Main Street (Route 20). The Winter Farmers’ Market takes place every Saturday until May and then the Summer Market begins. We have a number of winter vendors who accept EBT. Market patrons can also purchase $5.00 gift certificates and credit card tokens from the Market Manager.
